Know Before You Go

• No prior craft experience required - complete beginners welcome
• Wear clothes you do not mind getting slightly stained (batik dyes)
• Silver workshop involves small tools and heat - minimum age 12
• Batik workshop suitable for ages 8 and above with adult supervision
• Maximum 6 students per session for quality instruction
• Workshop is conducted in English with artisan translation
• You will work with hot wax (batik) and soldering iron (silver) - follow safety instructions
• Allow 5-6 hours for both workshops including lunch
• Bring camera to document your creative process
• Finished silver piece can be resized at the workshop
• Additional silver pieces can be made for extra material cost

Important Information

Both workshops involve working with heat (hot wax for batik, soldering iron for silver). Safety instructions will be given and must be followed. Not recommended for children under 8 for batik and under 12 for silver making without adult supervision. Batik dyes may stain clothing - wear appropriate attire. All materials are included in the price. Additional pieces can be made at extra material cost.
